Hidden under ridiculously glamorous and oversized sun hats (very SPF100), and quite reminiscent of the photograph below that's been on my moodboard forever, was the prettiest makeup for the Ginger & Smart MBFWA show.
Directed by Carol Mackie what I really love about this look is that you, I or any girl with some brown eyeliner could pull this together relatively easily. In the Winter I tend to experiment with my makeup more as I get so damn tired of dressing warm that I need another avenue to express myself when it comes to my appearance. This look is pretty perfect for a modern mix up, it's interesting, but not crazy, and just enough for that satisfying image refresh.
To try it at home keep skin clean and fresh with a light foundation or an illuminator. I would team with a creme blush and nude lip. After drawing the line just under the bottom lashes, (kinda under the socket), either smudge it with a cotton tip gently, or a slim makeup brush as shown below. For bolder colour you could also blend with a touch of matching eyeshadow on the brush. Have fun with it! I'll be back soon with more makeup sketches.
