I once got in trouble when I worked in retail for special ordering a long Cybele cardigan with a huge contrast circle on the back, I got in trouble because my boss wanted to be the only one to have it... news I was never informed of, but received many death stares for not knowing. At that time Cybele was a new brand creating bold print pattern on silk in beautiful colours that we were obsessed with - Cybele was fresh and different from what was available in NZ, and we were excited about how she was combining graphic prints with basic cuts creating pieces that were everyday wearable, not trend driven, and better still, wearable for numerous seasons. Since the initial Cybele obsession and our silk drape wardrobe overhaul things quietened down a little (I believe due to the birth of her first child), but last week thanks to an Instagram post my radar has been switched back on to welcome Cybele again for Winter 14. The collection Nimbus still has that everyday wearability that we loved from Cybele in the past, but it is the cloud print that caught my eye, positively pyjama-esque yes, and most necessary for a little winter wardrobe spark, just team it with a neutral if you're not quite up to the full body print suit just yet.
