1. MAC Cosmetics Mineralize Rich Lipsticks - Previously a freelance makeup artist at MAC I have been unable to shake the MAC obsession that comes hand in hand with working for such an inspirational brand. My lipstick preference has always been for rich Matte textures and their colour rich Amplified range, so I didnt expect that the Mineralize Rich finish would be for me. I was impressed with the colour depth of the two colours I tried (Everyday Diva and Divine Choice), the pigments were bright yet the consistency smooth and moisturising, quite perfect with the current shift to Autumn and the inevitable thirsty lips.
2. Emma Highfield Lingerie - Relatively fresh to the lingerie market Emma Highfield lingerie is handcrafted and designed in NZ. I recently recieved a little black lace set that is exceptionally comfortable yet perfect for a night when only black lace will do.
3. Drugstore With my job placing heavy weighting on the importance of beautiful aesthetics I find this attention filters to the things I surround myself with. While the name may take your imagination to somewhat sinister places Drugstore is infact quite a heavenly online store filled with premium artisan products that are hand sourced from around the world. Lately I have been enjoying the Marvis toothpastes and the Sydney Hale Co candles that have two wicks for even burning...I think that my candle was so good it may have been taken by a guest actually, it seems to have disappeared.
4. Ruby Pretty Thing Angora Sweater - I purchased this little number in baby blue, a slightly softer colour choice than what my wardrobe is accustomed to, but the beginning of what may be an all new pastel phase. With extra long sleeves and a slightly cropped length I always feel slightly playful, forever youthful and ready for snuggling mischief.
