When it comes to dressing for Fashion Week I have no interest in being a walking billboard girl! While it is great to support and promote brands we love, it doesn't seem that genuine when each day is just another full outfit borrowed from a different brand. It is important to represent something of ourselves too, buy special pieces to show support of a brand, sure grab a few showroom things if you have the opportunity, but mix them up and remember that not everything has to be new. This year with these thoughts in mind I packed a lot of vintage, and a lot of last season purchases that I wear and love. This is the outfit I wore on day 1 of NZFW, and other than the sunglasses everything is last season or vintage.
