At Auckland International Airport with left over New Zealand dollars burning in my pocket I am lured to the duty free MAC counter…every time without fail - responsibly saving my dollars for the next trip, no way! With gloss on my mind I picked up a MAC Pro Longwear Lipglass in "Driven By Love" which seemed appropriate considering my pace weaving my way to the MAC counter. Without a burst of colour I feel my lips disappear in to my complexion, not born with the juiciest pout I am the master of the overdraw (small lipped girls get exaggerating!) and this colour provides an instant lip plumping reward. My tips with this gloss is to coat your lips, rub them together for a minute and then blot, this gives your lips a great starting stain. I then layer it up carefully starting from the centre and working out, the brush isn't too large so you can manage to the edge easily. If you do make a mistake (the ultimate red lipstick fear) just grab a cotton tip, tidy up and then grab your concealer brush to lightly clean the line with your concealer. I applied for this shoot without lipliner, but lipliner can also help if you fear the edge. The great thing about this gloss is that it isn't super sticky, you can talk without your lips stringing red lines between them, it really lives up to its title and lasts for hours, retouch for super shine or enjoy its long lasting sexy stain. This gloss has become my number 1.
