Happy New Year! Apologies for the lack of posts - I moved house then had a holiday for 10 days, and the internet is still yet to be connected. This post comes to you via my personal hotspot... which sounds much more exciting than it could ever be. Anyway, I am back to Melbourne and almost back to work, currently unpacking my new studio, arranging, re-arranging, discarding and trying to create an inspirational space in which to spend my year. 2014 already holds the promise of being my best yet, I am currently gathering final files and drafting a huge blog post to share with you my biggest project yet, soon, soon, I'm so impatient and cant wait to tell you all about it.
In the meantime I'm feeling positively colour inspired by the latest Celine S/S13 campaign featuring Julia Nobis and coincidentally the day I first saw the campaign my Mrs Mills illustration wearing Celine came out in the London Sunday Times. Mrs Mills still fills me with wardrobe envy every time I sit down to draw her, this Celine collection was one of my favourites during Fashion Week and I may need to invest some personal time to draw it purely for my own satisfaction - something I aim to find more time for this year.
I'm looking forward to building this blog a lot this year, so hopefully this internet gets sorted soon, hotspots don't feel so hot when accompanied by giant phone bills:)
