I'm calling it " 'art attacks" (geddit?), my new favourite emerging trend, what a time to be an artist! Through the never ending supply of sports luxe and minimalism Paris and NY fashion weeks have unveiled a dramatic and exhilarating art inspired trend, I am captivated, inspired and reaching for my colouring pencils. Jean Charles de Castelbajac's Picasso-esque face prints have become my favourites for S/S14 - a little 80s they are so bold and saved my eyes from complete Instagram FW boredom. What fun it must be to be so confident with your designs, what fun it must be to be a Jean Charles de Castelbajac woman! Ah and what about the Celine collection - a swift departure from the calm of their winter collection, this new Summer direction has such energy with gestural brush strokes and colour clashes, it's like I just popped an energy drink (or something). Summer 14 is bold and unapologetic, while still retaining that undeniable Celine femininity - after a long cold winter girls are ready to step out.

For your viewing pleasure I have also included below some of my favourites from Prada and Kenzo, looks like summer is all about colour, looks like its time to pull out my paint brushes!
